  • Thank goodness some of the remnants of colonial times stand the test of time, and are open to the public with restaurants and accommodations. They are working museums, really! I loved this place!

  • Beautiful grounds, great food. I did not stay here though I wish I had the opportunity. We stopped here for a group lunch. The food was amazing and the music was great. Very hospitable. The soup and trout was outstanding!

  • La Cienega was a beautiful hacienda more than 300 years old. The hotel was very close to Cotopaxi Volcano and to the rose plantations. The hotel interiors were kept in original decoration. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The firespace in the room was working and it was effectively the main heater in the room. The food during dinner and lunch was traditional and delicious.

  • Don’t miss it. what a beautiful Hacienda, when you arrive at the entrance of the park you are facing this great stones building and you can’t wait to go inside; they did a really good job renovating this hotel:they kept all the feelings of the old time and the room we had in the old part was very cosy
